Where do you get your gifts?
ALL our mystery gifts and thrift gifts are sourced from local Thrift Shops around the country in an effort to support the local community by way of donation to charitable institutions.
Do you carry more than one item in stock?
All the items in circulation on the mystery thrift shop, or the thrift gift club are one off's, as we purchase all our items from Thrift Shops around the country direct, it would be an extremely rare occasion to see the same item on our online store. If you like something, we strongly recommend you purchase quickly as we can't hold or lay by items.
What type of gifts do you give?
We to steer clear of clothing for mystery gifts and our thrift gift club, unless requested by the purchaser. It's hard to get sizing right sometimes. However, we give the option to select a category for all those wanting a mystery gift from us. You can however select gifts from our marketplace (our online store for merchants and bigger ticket items. For the best example of the types of gifts we send out, check out our product categories under the marketplace tab to get an idea.
What if i get a gift and i don't like it?
If you've received a gift from us and you're not completely satisfied with it, why don't you regift it, or donate it to your local charity? Alternatively, contact us and we will see what we can do for you.
How long does delivery take?
We ship using standard Australia Post, this means that your gift can take up to 5 business days to arrive, depending on your location in Australia. If you have been waiting longer, please let us know by contacting us on social media, or via our contact us page.
Is the cost of delivery included?
Yes! Our mystery gift items and the Thrift Gift Club prices include delivery, wrapping and our time spent shopping, plus a TSGS card, or gift tag!
Does Thrift Shop Gift Shop make money off an online purchase?
Yes, our employees are paid to search out the best bargains and best buys based on your gift requirements and someone has to pay them!
How much do you make off a sale?
We make very little from an order, often profits from an order will be as low as $2! So help spread the word about our little club to ensure we can keep operating to support the community, charities and save you time on gifting!
